Shockwave is a Decepticon from the Transformers fiction, being the emotionless eternally loyal second-in-command to Megatron.

The Fall of Cybertron incarnation of Shockwave is considered his most sadistic form. In the game, he violently experiments on the elite Autobot task force Lightning Strike Coalition, lowering their intelligence, making them walking tanks of mindless power, and forcing them to go through his sadistic tests. However, the force's leader, Grimlock, eventually broke out and freed the rest of his team. Meanwhile, Shockwave, too caught up researching an ocean of raw energon Megatron sought after, had his arm chomped off by Grimlock at his computer station and was never seen again.
Powers and Abilities[]
Shockwave is depicted as the smartest member of the Decepticon ranks, as well as an extremely skilled combatant. He is referred to "a computer on legs", as he sees emotion as a weakness and only relies on logic. Usually transforming into a weapon adorned tank, cannon, or jet, Shockwave is unmatchable with his intelligence, battle tactics, and firepower. However, fitting with the Stormtrooper effect, Shockwave's aim with his laser-pistol is almost comically awful.
